Kevin Fitzsimmons Sextet ft Leon Greening @ HERTS JAZZ CLUB

7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Tribute to Cannonball with Cleanhead & Andrews

Kevin Fitzsimmons – vocals, Leon Greening – keys, Alex Garnett – sax, Matt Fishwick – drums, Steve Fishwick – trumpet, Adam King - bass

Described by Jazzwise as “a new star to follow”, the charismatic singer/songwriter and his band pay tribute to Cannonball Adderley’s albums ‘Cleanhead & Cannonball’ and ‘Live Session!’ in the 1st set . The 2nd set features the kind of originals, standards and new renditions of contemporary anthems played on their last visit to Herts Jazz Club.

“A voice that can be adapted to both blues and jazz idioms, impresses greatly” - UKVIBE (JAZZ CULTURE ONLINE)

“Shows he is a thoroughbred jazz singer and can even swing a superior rock song” – MARLBANK

“Reminiscent of Kurt Elling in that Fitzsimmons isn’t afraid to nonchalantly wander off the melody line while still capturing the song’s essence” – JAZZWISE MAGAZINE

Supreme Queen

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Sweeney Entertainments Presents

Supreme Queen

Live in Concert

SUPREME QUEEN have been paying homage to the world’s most theatrical and dramatic Rock band, Queen since 1995, and in that time have had a huge impact on audiences across the UK, Europe and Asia.

Front man, Scott Maley plays an uncannily realistic ‘Freddie’ with just the right look, stage persona and, most importantly of all, the most incredibly powerful voice!

Scott is joined on stage by an enormously talented band including Nathan Mathers who brings all the electric guitar virtuosity required to play a very convincing Brian May. Their attention to detail is truly impressive and extends to their use of the exact same equipment used by Queen on stage in their heyday

For a Queen - live in Concert experience; nobody does it like SUPREME QUEEN!
